Unger Steel Middle East FZE is now ready for production of steel

Unger Steel Starts Production at Their New Factory in
Sharjah

Sharjah (UAE), Oberwart (AUT) – The 1st of April is the official beginning of production in the new Unger Steel Middle East FZE plant. In the presence of managing directors Naser Kandah and Christian Fassl as well as Dr. Rashid Al Leem - General Director of Hamriyah Free Zone- and other local representatives, Mr. Josef Unger – CEO- launched the production at the new factory of Unger Steel. Located nearby Dubai, this up-to-date structural steel plant is planning to produce in the first phase around 50,000 tons of steel per year and serve building sites in a range of 2500km. “Being number one in Austria and one of the top five construction companies in Europe; now with this new plant we are able to double our output with the same best quality of constructed steel”, says Josef Unger, CEO of Unger.
On a landscape of 100.000sqm the production is carried out with three parallel production bays using the most modern machines. All shot blasting machines, cutting and drilling lines, coping robots and the pipe cutting machines are computer numerical controlled. The automatically infeed and outfeed conveyors optimize the flow on a high tech level. Being able to do dip galvanising on location increases the quality of steel produced. In- house-planning as well as the highly experienced management team are all together other guarantors for perfect formula insuring the best solutions for clients in the Middle-East and Asian Area.
